It's RAMBLIN' Time!
The Peeping Thom has been so busy with backlogs that he has no time to pen his nonsense.
Well, IT'S A NEW YEAR!!!! WOOOOOooooooo~
And so a new family portrait is a must!!
Year 2009 was a eventful year.
3 major stuffs that happened in The Peeping Thom's life.
1) TPT turned his back on 'an extraordinary career' and concentrated on building his
wedding photography EMPIRE!!! YEAH!!!!
(there was a joke among colleagues, 'extraordinary' means it means EXTRA work, ORDINARY pay)
2) TPT got married to his childhood sweeth.... err....lovely missus!
3) Little Coby arrived on Earth on the last day of August!

Back to Wedding Photography.
Recently, there were some discussions within the industry.
-Music Copyright infringements-
Hmm...TPT thinks that the copyright of the music should be respected lah.
TPT used to include the use of nice un-copyrighted music in his highlights.
But after the recent step up of enforcement by a certain music copyrights body, TPT is getting his melodies from http://www.redbeardmusic.com/ -
Who likes to get caught and fined???
Who wants his stuffs to be used without permission???
-Respect of Photographers-
With the maturing of digital age, photographers are like EVERYWHERE!
Or so people thought.
Recently TPT attended a BBQ.
They knew TPT was a wedding photographer and stuffed 3 - 4 cameras in his hands and asked him to shoot.
Some are nice with their requests, some are taking it for granted.
They thought a cameraman should shoot anything and everything.
A cook chef doesn't cook at home, if you get what i mean.
-Table Shots-
Some photographers have remarked that table-shots should be done away.
It is an old and redundant way of confirming attendance.
That time slot would be better spent just mingling around with your guests.
Photographers would able to get nice candid moments instead of stiff and routine posed captures.
Actually TPT is cool with or without tableshots.
With tableshots, it is a good way of training the up and coming photographers.
The Peeping Thom was trained that way, hitting up to 80 tables a night.
Without tableshots, you will get precious 1 hour squeezed out to mingle with your guests.
Sometimes, u will get unexpected table shots too~
